OATLY was founded in early 1990 and is based on Swedish research from Lund University. It uses patented enzyme technology to turn fiber-rich oats into nutrient liquid foods that are easily absorbed. A cup of 250 liters of oat milk provides one-third of the beta-glucan (1 g) required for the next day. OATLY converts solid oats into liquid oat milk, sweetens it with patented “Enzyme” amylolytic technology, and adds rapeseed oil instead of animal fat. Its ingredients are natural and free of milk, lactose, preservatives, artificial colors and chemical seasonings, making it a new healthy choice for vegetarians and lactose intolerant people.

Oatly Organic Oat Drinks is made of oat base which consists of 10% organic oats and water and a little bit of sea salt for flavour. This product is free from lactose, milk protein and soya.
