Recipe

Ingredients:

  1. Shanghai Mooncake Mix         500g
  2. Butter  (Soften)                        160g
  3. Egg                                           50g     
  4. Salted Egg Yolk                        Optional
  5. Melon Seed                              Optional                           

                 

 

Method: 

  1. Roll lotus paste 70g to form a ball.
  2. Beat butter until pale and fluffy.
  3. Add in egg and mix until combine.
  4. Then, add in Shanghai Mooncake Mix and mix well to form a dough.
  5. Divide dough 85g and roll in paste to shape.
  6. Egg wash on top, decorate with melon seed.
  7. Bake at temperature +/- 180°C for +/-20-24 minutes in oven.
